Student life

Performing arts

Grades 3 through 8, three afternoons a week from January to March, and a full production at the end of it.

The Holy Spirit School Performing Arts Program is an exceptional extracurricular activity that highlights the talents of many of our creative students. The program has been in existence for many years.

Productions have included The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Music Man, Annie, Peter Pan, Elf, The Little Mermaid and Shrek.

How it runs

The program is open to students in Grades 3 through 8 and is run by directors who love sharing their God-given talents with enthusiastic students. It highlights acting, singing and dancing.

Students who participate meet after school for two to two and a half hours, three days per week, through January, February and March. Productions usually take place at the end of March or early in April.

The program could not survive without our parent volunteers, who give selflessly of their time to create costumes, help with sets and props, chaperone rehearsals, and work wherever needed during tech week and the production itself.
