Giving

The school raises $200,000 a year. Here is where it goes.

Tuition does not cover the cost of educating a child here — it never has. The gap is closed by benefactors, alumni and families who give what they can.

Where gifts go

We have been blessed over the years with many generous gifts.

All financial donations are used to supplement our AdvancED curriculum, provide scholarships for students in need, keep our technology current, maintain our building so that we can continue to provide a safe and positive learning environment, and bring special programming and activities to our students and families.

We are so thankful for our benefactors, alumni and community members who have continued to support Holy Spirit School with their time, talent and treasure.

The Legacy Gala

Every generation is given the chance to shape a legacy.

Our Legacy Gala is the cornerstone of the school's fundraising year — not simply a celebration, but a rallying point for everyone who believes in the power of Catholic education.

In a world filled with noise, distraction and uncertainty, the gift of a faith-filled education shines brighter than ever — an anchor for our children and a beacon for tomorrow. Holy Spirit School is more than a school; it is a mission, a promise, and a light that must not be dimmed.

At Holy Spirit we are committed to inspiring minds, igniting faith, and shaping the future. Together, we can secure the future of Holy Spirit School and ensure its light continues to shine for decades ahead.

The Annual Msgr. McQuaid Golf Outing

Named for the pastor who spent twenty-eight years here.

Msgr. Eugene B. McQuaid became pastor of Holy Spirit Church in 1966. He faithfully served the people of God in Pequannock for twenty-eight years, until his retirement in June 1994. In recognition of his many accomplishments and in thanksgiving for his total dedication to the support of the parish school, this annual golf outing is named in his honour.

The event provides an opportunity for our supporters to enjoy a day on the golf course with all those who share a common interest in Holy Spirit School.

Why it matters$200,000

Each year the school is responsible for generating $200,000 through fundraising, to keep up with general maintenance and to ensure the classrooms provide an environment conducive to learning.
