Spend one Tuesday morning with us before you decide.

Tours run on Tuesday mornings while school is in session, because that is when there is something to see. You will walk past classrooms mid‑lesson, watch Adoration at 9:00, and ask the principal whatever you came to ask.

Holy Spirit School families

Come on a Tuesday and ask them in person. Bring the work your child has done.

What the morning looks like

A real school day, not a staged open house.

Nothing is arranged for visitors. The children are where they would be anyway, which is the only way to see whether a school is what it says it is.

On arrivalCome to the school office at 330 Newark Pompton Turnpike. Parking is in the lot behind the school, off the Turnpike.
The classroomsThrough the building while lessons are running — preschool through Grade 8, in the order your family cares about.
9:00 AMAdoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the parish church next door, with the students. You are welcome to stay for it.
Before you goSit down with the principal. Bring the questions about tuition, placement and the Sacraments — that is what the time is for.
How to reserve

Tell us who is coming, and which Tuesday.

There is no booking system to fight with. Send an email or call the office, and someone will confirm the date and time with you directly.

By emailYour child’s age, the grade you are looking at, and the Tuesday that suits you. The office replies with a time.
By phoneCall 973‑835‑5680 during school hours and ask for the office. If nobody picks up, leave a number and we call back.
If Tuesday is impossibleSay so. Working parents are the rule here, not the exception, and the office will find another morning.
Coming with you

Bring the child. Bring the questions.

Children are welcome on a tour and usually decide the matter faster than their parents do. If you are moving from another school or from the kitchen table, bring recent work or a report card and we can talk about placement while you are here.

Finding us

The classrooms are at 330. The church is at 318.

Holy Spirit School and Holy Spirit Parish sit next door to each other on Newark Pompton Turnpike in Pequannock. A parent can drop a child at 8:00 and be in the pew for the 8:30 Mass — which is exactly how a lot of our families start the day.
