Kindergarten enrolment
The year the school day becomes a full one. Preschool families are placed first, and registration opens in the winter for the following September.
Kindergarten at Holy Spirit is a full day, in the main school building, with the same faculty your child will keep for the next nine years. Children who have been through PreK–3 and PreK–4 here move up together, and places are offered to them first.
What the office needs
- A copy of the five-year-old physical.
- Additional required vaccines — usually the second MMR and further doses of both the IPV and DTaP vaccines since Pre-K enrolment.
- A legal certified birth certificate and, where it applies, a Baptismal certificate.
- The completed registration packet and fee.
The State law deadline
Per State law, the vaccination record must be received before the first day of school or the child cannot be admitted. The nurse would far rather chase this in June than in September.
